Update IX

Nearing one year since our great revolution began and the creation of our great ideology, our Republic continues to move forward, undaunted by the challenges and struggle we face as a newer region. Rapid development in culture, information, and defense continues as we gain allies and forge strong bonds with our overseas partners. Our military in reliable and friendly hands, all branches of government creating new and more efficient internal procedure, a cabinet more productive than ever before. All this thanks to the work & faith of the people, always loyal to Zennyism and its principles.

As I near the end of my time as President of our Glorious Republic, I can stand proud of what we have done here. We have created a very unique region that has led the way for many other regions to adopt similar practices, programs, and attitudes. It was only a short year ago that many told me that we would not ever amount to anything significant, however time and hard work has proven me right in my strong faith in the collective strength of our people and their firm resolve never to cease pushing forward regional unity, development, and strength, all under the shining banner of Zennyism.

Even with so many accomplishments in the first 20 months of our history, we must continue to raise the standards of our region and become increasingly organized. While I am rarely content with my work as I always feel I can do better, I am very pleased with the condition in which I am passing on this post. The people are happier than ever with their democratically-elected government and the work that they tirelessly do for them. They can hold their heads high, knowing that the Bloc stands at the very top of the world, stronger and more prosperous as each day goes by, surrounded by people that they can call their friends & comrades.

While it is always difficult to leave a job you feel is unfinished, I have felt for some time now that it is time for the next generation of TCB to take the reigns and forge an even brighter future. The next President will be the first who was not in the original 5 Founding Members, and I take great pride in knowing that this generation grew up without the same problems and obstacles that we faced. I fully embrace and wish the best to the next administration as TCB enters what I hope to be an incredibly interesting and prosperous time in our history. My work is not over till August 7th, however I am already making sure that the next Leader of our Republic will be given a very smooth transition into power once elected. I look forward to working with the new team whomever they may be and working as hard as I can to please the next Dear Leader whos happiness and contentment shall be my greatest goal and reward.

I am proud of what we have done, and I think we are going to be doing a lot more. Our Bloc's potential is so great and we have so, so many talented individuals amongst us. It is incredibly humbling to have been allowed this great privilege to lead the region for so long with such broad support and affection from the people, the Cabinet, my wife, and my family. The Communist Bloc is a democratic socialist paradise for hundreds of people, and will remain so for a very long time. Our red flag will flutter for many years to come, comrades.

Statement Regarding the SCOTUS ruling;:

On June 26th, 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States made a ruling that literally changed history. While The Communist Bloc is not entirely made up of, or even majorly made up of, people from the United States, there are a great number of us in this community that advocate for the LGBT+ community. There are also more than a few of us that are members of the community by fact that we are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, and/or all areas included in the descriptor, including supporters of the community. So we were quite happy when our fellow persons were finally given the right to marry whom they love. The Communist Bloc has always been a quite open community when it comes to accepting people from various walks of life and we advocate camaraderie in our culture through friendliness and compassion for each other. Depending on where you live this may seem like old news, and it did happen in June, but regardless it is well worth remembering this piece of history and recognizing what it means for your fellow person, if not for yourself.
