Shared History

Why didn't I put this on the Factbook Tin Forum Instead?
Because no one really goes there

I've noticed that on most of the Factbooks in the North Pacific, they don't share any history or past with other nations.
I'm thinking we should do a sort of Past RP where nations share one event or important part of history (Like the Black Death in Europe) so nations have better things to put in your factbook.
And by this, I mean a lot of nations, because most people add 1 or 2 nations in their Factbook but the other nations seem to not have cared.
There has been things like 'civil war!' in the National Roleplay but after a while people act like that never happened.

Who's With me? :D

We talked about this before for a brief time. I was thinking of a plan like some sort of TNP version of the Seven Year's War.

I tried to run a historic multi nation plague event and the reaction went something like ~Nobody wants to RP a plague, it's just people dieing left and right.~

I'm all for creating shared histories. Plembobria, Xentherida, and I have been working on a shared history for our landmass. I'm in support of joint ventures, but anyone running this type of event has to make sure it's not decided in draft, started too rapidly, and finished before others even have a chance to be part. Draft the idea, set a start date and not 'today' then don't blow through the whole RP before others can respond effectively. (Some people may be out of town or have a bad connection, etc for a day due to travel.)
