R3n's Legacy

When r3naissanc3r ascended to the delegacy of The North Pacific in May of 2014, some in the interregional community considered it a tribute to the banal, going so far as to predict his upcoming term would be “bland” and “beige”. Ten months later, however, r3n has left behind him a legacy of radical innovation and unparalleled activity that stand head and shoulders above other delegates. Much of r3n’s drive and vision as delegate was devoted to broadening TNP’s community and strengthening ties between the forum and the region, and he oversaw several key components of the strategy to achieving this. These included but were not limited to putting forth new citizenship legislation, starting a Ministry of Home Affairs to oversee and implement his integration policies, and innovating the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs and the other ministries to ensure that they provide opportunities to all TNPers.

As R3n became Delegate, he made instrumental choices as to whom he wanted to serve in his cabinet. R3n focused on giving each nation equal opportunity in the region and tried to help each nation put forth their potential to contribute to TNP. That’s why when he came to make cabinet appointments he appointed relatively new citizens such as The Democratic Republic of Tomb, Malvad, and Egalotir. Each of these new ministers served as deputy ministers before acquiring their positions and had put a huge amount of effort and work into their ministries, and when R3n saw the efforts that they had put in, he recognized it and promoted them. Now, The Democratic Republic of Tomb is currently serving as Delegate of The North Pacific, while Malvad and Egalotir are have served as Minister of Education and Minister of Foreign Affairs, respectivelly. Till today, many of these individuals and others thank R3n for helping them come to the spotlight and teaching them along the way.

Shortly after his election, r3n announced the creation of a new Home Affairs Ministry, an idea which he had campaigned on. Headed by The Democratic Republic of Tomb, this ministry immediately began to actively engage with TNP’s resident nations. The Delegate and Minister worked together closely, coordinating telegram campaigns, informational dispatches, and recruitment methods directed at certain nations to increase the activity in The North Pacific and make sure that each nation in the region finds at least one activity in which they can participate and enjoy their time in. When The Democratic Republic of Tomb was asked to briefly reflect on R3n’s policy in the Ministry of Home Affairs, he said, “R3n’s direction and policy for the Ministry of Home Affairs has really revolutionized TNP and improved the experiences of many new citizens of The North Pacific.”

In the fall, r3n rolled out an unprecedented approach to endorsement gathering - the World Assembly Development Program. With awards and honors given to nations who exchange endorsements, the WADP saw TNP’s Endorsement Saturation rise by about 3% over 3 months. This program saw Delegate r3n reach the 600th endorsement mark and it also increased the endorsements of most security counsellors. In fact, at one point during a World Assembly national analysis, the 10 individuals with the most endorsements were all TNP citizens and residents. Delegate R3n’s policies in the World Assembly Ministry has led TNP to become highly involved in the World Assembly and secure the region from a rogue delegacy.

These things are nothing compared to the overall picture of R3n’s delegacy. His policies, choices, and decisions have positively impacted TNPers and have truly revolutionized TNP. R3n will always be remembered as one of the greatest Delegates that have reigned in TNP.
