The Most Serene Republic of Syrixia will be joining the celebrations. Expect the arrival of Mr. Nursson, whose birthday it is today, along with his wife Margaret Nursson and their son Edmund, as well as five security guards and a personal servant of the Nurssons.

We will be leaving Syrixia for Guslantis upon your response.

Outside of Beier Manor, Charles Beier walked with his ministry guards through the courtyard, talking to his associate minister. The guards were dressed in green and gold robes and held matching staffs, complete with the iconic wheel of the Guslant seal. "Minister Beier, the government of Syrixia has decided to attend the event," said the associate minister. "Of course, get to the Pigletville airport immediately and escort them to the manor. Tell Chef Bott to prepare the appetizers and make sure that the dining hall is in working order when the first guests arrive," Minister Beier ordered. A ministry car pulled out of the manor, and the associate minister got into the car. It drove out of the manor gates and headed toward Pigletville International Airport. Seconds after the car had left, another car pulled in, this one belonging to Madam Ryan. Madam Ryan and Minister Beier had a romantic relationship when they were in high school, and Ryan was the last person Beier hoped to see. "Guards, tell the president that I must check the appetizers...," said Beier, coming up with an excuse. The guards walked over to the car, which opened to reveal the presidential guards, bearing similar robes and staffs, but instead of green and gold, these guards wore gold and maroon. "Charlie...," said the voice of Ryan as she stepped out of the car. Beier turned at the sound of Cassidy's voice, knowing he couldn't escape. "Cassidy...," he said, hoping she would say something romantic, however she did not. "These guards are not bearing the governmental colors of Guslantis, Charlie, I would not allow the blue colors of Foreign Affairs, the orange of Information, the purple of Defense, or the pink of Human Services, so I must ask that you call back your Ministry's guards," she ordered. Beier frowned as he called his guards back from Ryan.

In the Pigletville International Airport, Greg Baldwin, the Associate Minister of Finance was waiting for Nursson's plane to arrive. He was given an envelope of money by Beier to treat the kids to some Guslant ice cream and hoped they would enjoy the formal.

Grumpy old Nursson, naturally, exited the plane last. He was a man of graciousness, and he stood by his values. But sometimes his values were a tad annoying. The Syrixian Star was unavailable due to repairs, and Nursson hadn't packed more than 120 Aureias. That was enough to get one a B-grade boarding pass.

"Oh my god! It's the Prime Minister of Syrixia!" One girl yelled. Finally, someone had noticed him. This did not help though; he was now stuck giving hugs to little girls and autographing countless notebooks for about ten minutes. He did like hugs and autographs, but not when there was a party to go to. Add Edmund Nursson, the Prime Minister's kid, and there was a distinct air of annoyance about.

Edmund was classy, polite and rather intelligent, but at the same time he was cunning and manipulative. He was believed to have an entourage of maids in the Parliament Hall complex, known as the Order of Edmund, who were obliged to serve his will and his will alone. He was a six-year old child, but he acted as if he was his father during a Parliament meeting. Formal, intelligent, and serious, but unlike his father he was really playful and extremely devious.

The car was already waiting. The Nurssons stepped in. Minister Beier's house was about fifteen minutes away.

Associate Minister Baldwin sat beside Nursson on the car ride to Beier Manor. Baldwin was a nervous soul, and took out the envelope with a shaking hand. "Nur-Nursson...the Minister would l-like to treat the k-kids to an ice cream cone...," Baldwin said as he handed the envelope to Nursson. Baldwin knew this wasn't Beier's generosity...in fact, Baldwin had never actually witnessed Beier being nice to someone without benefit. This was where 10% of Guslant taxes went, to the Ministry of Finance...to the corrupt Minister Beier. This was unknown to President Hunter Hilley, Madam President Abigail Hilley, and now Madam Vice Cassidy Ryan. Beier wasn't wealthy because he worked hard, he was wealthy because he had sticky fingers and knew how to sneak money. He knew he had to tell Nursson this, and he knew he would have to tell him at the Manor, however, Baldwin also knew about the ministry guards, and that they would not let their corrupt minister be arrested. When he finally gave the envelope over, they were at the manor.

"Lad, you seem agitated, almost scared, about something." said the Prime Minister. (OOC: His name is ALFRED Nursson, you should refer to him as Mr. Nursson, not just Nursson) "Perhaps we could talk about it?" said the Prime Minister. He bid his wife and Edmund, now holding a dish of ice cream and a spoon, to go talk to Mr. Beier, and bid the Ministry Guards to go with them. Alone with Assistant Minister Baldwin, he was ready to hear what was going on. (OOC: The Ministry guards were apparently being called back in your previous post so please don't post these two getting caught by the remaining guards.)

As Mrs. Nursson conversed with some people outside the Manor, Edmund was wise enough to figure out exactly what was going on. He had figured out that Baldwin was afraid of the Minister because of the way he spoke, and that because Beier was the Minister of Finance this had to be because of monetary corruption.

Being cunning as he was, he instantly set about to finding the Minister and helping him to sneak money, in the hopes that he could get some of the money for himself and perhaps more hot maids for his entourage. He slipped away from his ignorant yet socially excellent mother and began to look for Minister Beier.

Baldwin shook rapidly as he approached the Prime Minister. "Th-the money, the money is from Minister Beier, sir, second floor, room on the right...find Madam Ryan...she is with the head of army...Scottsfield...", the poor man said before collapsing on the Prime Minister. He was trying to warn the Prime Minister of Beier's corruption, and to tell Madam Ryan, however, all that Mr. Nursson was left with was to find Madam Ryan. Meanwhile, on the highest floor of Beier Manor, Charles was searching through his vault for more money to pay the staff for their service tonight. He found the safe, and then called his guards on the radio. Down in Madam Ryan's room, Scottsfield, disguised as one of Cassidy's governmental guards was watching the Ministry guards. "Roger that...we'll be right up," said the Ministry guard pushing past Scottsfield angrily. Scottsfield wanted to stab him with her staff, however, she knew that this would put blame on her. Across the room, she saw Edmund looking for someone and beckoned him over to talk to her, still disguised as a guard.

"Excuse me, Ms. Guard! Do you know whereabouts Mr. Beier is? I would like to speak to him." Edmund said.

He could tell from his analysis of foreign officials back home that he did in his spare time not too long ago that this was Madam Vice President Cassidy Ryan of Guslantis in disguise as a guard.

He was careful to not divulge any of his plans as he asked his question, for he knew he was talking to the Acting President of Guslantis and one wrong step could lead to big trouble.

(OOC: The guard is Nancy Scottsfield, not Cassidy Ryan in disguise. Scottsfield is Cassidy's acting general, so, Edmund is still correct in the matter.) Scottsfield examined the boy, and then escorted him from the room. "You are too curious for a boy, what do you want with Minister Beier?" she asked as she walked past people on the staircase down to the first floor. At the bottom of the steps were more of the Finance Ministry guards, and they were not happy to see Scottsfield, or Edmund. "What is a governmental guard doing down on the first floor?" asked one of the guards, probably a young boy at 17 or 18. "What are the Ministry guards doing in the manor after the president ordered them out?!" she asked in a fury. "This a ministry event, madam, and I...," the boy did not get to finish as Scottsfield picked him up. She hurled the young boy against the wall, and the entire floor heard his helmet smash against the manor walls. The helmet split in two as he fell unto the ground. Scottsfield approached him and saw him attempt to stand up. As he did, she recognized the face of one of her soldiers. A young private in the military that would never disobey orders. Working for Beier was like treason now. "Where is Charles?", she asked him calmly. "I...don't know...," he said out of breath. Scottfield moved closer to where he could see her face under the helmet, and where she held her staff under his throat like a dagger. "The...third floor executive offices...I can take you there...," he said. Scottsfield helped him up as the remaining guards pondered attacking her. "I will let you go in exchange for a staff," she said, grabbing one of the guard staffs and handing it to Edmund. "Three in one weapon. The wheel at the the top can be used as a knife, the staff can be used as a gun, or..." She detached the wheel from the staff and handed them back. "You can use the wheel as a boomerang weapon. I am assuming you want to help me."

"Actually, I need to see Mr. Beier too, madam." said Edmund, hiding a smile of pure evil. "Privately, if you don't mind. I shall visit him after you are done talking to him."

Edmund had his plan out. He would visit Mr. Beier, help him steal money and get some himself. Then he'd be as rich as Syrixia's richest billionaires, keep his wealth a secret, and roll in piles of money in his "secret lounge" as he drank wine, gloated, and was attended to by his incredibly hot maid-slaves.

The best part? His parents and the Guslants were mutually and totally unaware.

Scottsfield nodded as the three walked up the stairs into the executive office, where Minister Beier and his guards were waiting. The guards quickly recognized Scottsfield and arrested her, leaving Edmund open for Beier. "What is a child doing in my office?!" asked Beier, grabbing Edmund and dragging him as a hostage. Beier opened the window, and stepped out onto the ledge outside his window, dragging Edmund with him. Beier looked down, and was scared to death. He tried to come back inside, but saw that one of the Ministry guards was attacking the others. Beier looked confused until he heard Cassidy Ryan's voice. His former lover was disguised as a guard, and now she was attacking the others. She finished them off as she turned to Beier and Edmund. Beier closed the window and ran along the ledge toward the roof. He had to escape, this boy had to be rid of, and that could be easily arranged. The two came to the end of the ledge, with no way onto the roof. "Do you have a plan, kid?" asked Beier.

"Woah woah woah! Stop! I know what you're doing, and I want to help! I believe I can be of some assistance to your money- er; borrowing effort, providing I get a little bit of money of course. My concubines back home at Syrixia do love their money." said Edmund quickly.

He was caught by surprise and now he was verbally fighting for his life. The plan, though, still had a chance. Hopefully by explaining his plan he would gain Beier's trust.

(OOC: would be nice if he did so the story can continue)

Beier looked Edmund over and pondered his answer. He tried to back up, but was on the edge of the building's ledge. "Fine. You have my trust...now get us off this damn building!" he said out of fear.

Edmund calmly opened the windows and led Mr. Beier in.

"Now, about your money-borrowing effort, I'd like a little bit of money as well. I'm going to say...ah...around 10 to 15 percent of the money you're...well, borrowing. In return, I will make sure that if Guslant officials ever visit Syrixia and you agree to go with them, you'll have a...wonderful time with my lovely maids back home."

Edmund smiled slyly to himself, knowing Beier had to comply else Edmund would expose Beier's money-stealing. He had secretly taken photos of the stolen money in Beier's bags and personal safes.

"Now," Edmund said, "Would that be alright with you, Mr. Beier?"

Beier nodded as he entered through the window. Suddenly however, guards bearing the purple colors of the Ministry of Defense entered, led by Scottsfield. They tried to attack the two, as Ministry of Finance guards blocked them. Beier handed Edmund the keys to the safe, as he pointed to a bookshelf over in the corner. "Run Syrixian boy, safe my money!" Beier yelled as Scottsfield finished off a Ministry soldier. Scottsfield looked up to Beier as Beier stepped back against the wall. "Your money?! Your money?! When has Guslantis ever gave you 10% of its taxes every year? Hm, Beier?!" said Scottsfield. "But...Cassidy, she loved me...," said Beier nervously. "She loved you. And then she broke up with you, Charles. I know that you'll try to play this romance out so you can kiss up to our president, by I know inside that you are a cold-hearted snake...therefore, on behalf of her and Guslantis...I'll give you...," started Scottsfield. She picked up her staff and used it as a javelin, throwing it straight at Beier. It hit Beier in the chest and hurled him out the window and into the lake below. The entire manor heard his body splash into the lake as Scottsfield and the guards looked at Edmund. At that moment, Minister Delford walked into the office. "Minister Beier, there is a...," he started before noticing the guards. Delford looked at Edmund, quickly recognizing him as a fellow Syrixian. The son of the Prime Minister. "What do we have here?" he asked, looking at Edmund.

"Well this didn't go as planned. Ta ta, I'll be taking my money now."

Edmund jumped out the window, disappeared into the trees and opened his phone to call the pilots of the Syrixian Star.

The Star showed up in around an hour. Edmund, evading capture, quickly boarded the Syrixian Star holding ALL of Beier's money.

It was at this point that the Prime Minister finally heard everything.

"My son's always been cunning but this is terrifyingly crazy. Send fighter jets, we need to intercept the Star before it reaches Syrixia." he said quickly and firmly.

"But make sure it lands on an island so it's safe and we can extract the money."

Nursson knew this would not end well if it crashed or if it landed. The only island in the Star's flight path was Democratic Union Island.

(OOC: What? A plane could probably reach Guslantis from Syrixia in an hour, considering the size and location of the region.)

Syrixia:
(OOC: What? A plane could probably reach Guslantis from Syrixia in an hour, considering the size and location of the region.)
(OOC: It's not that, it's the situation it's in.)

(OOC: Oh you mean repairs. They were finished about a couple hours RP time from when the Nurssons arrived. Apologies I didn't specify that, so here ya go.)

The Syrixian Star cruised the skies heading toward Syrixia. Suddenly, however, first class Air Force fighter jets flying from the Syrixian military base in Augustus Town (OOC: It's a town in Guslantis that we built a military base in via the terms of the Compact of Free Association) ascended from the clouds below with a goal of intercepting the Star.

"What the hell?!" yelled the pilot. "Rogues! ROGUES! Quickly, get us out of here!" yelled Edmund. He yelled it in just a perfect, particular way that the pilot would agree, and the Star set its now beefed up jet engines to full blast. The Star picked up the pace immensely. It was now flying at double the speed of cruising speed. The fighter jets, however, managed to keep up.

One fighter jet got close to the door and, using a steel tether and an extending glass tube/walkway which allowed Air Force soldiers to easily get in other vehicles' doors while in flight, a small group of 4 Syrixian soldiers entered the Syrixian Star. Edmund, of course, dashed for the place no one would dare to look: the secret entrance to the plane's cargo bay. He found a rather large case normally used for carrying weapon racks and stuffed himself inside, money in tow.

However, he was unaware that these soldiers were elites, not regular grunts. They were trained to be extremely smart in battle; so naturally a soldier was dispatched to check the cargo hold. Edmund stayed silent. All he could do now was hold out until the plane arrived, when the soldiers would get off the plane and take another fighter jet back to the Augustus Town base, wherein a pilot dispatched to the main Syrixian territory would take said plane back to Syrixia. After all, the fighter jet in which the soldiers arrived him had flown off as per protocol...

(Can someone post here? This is a good story, I don't want it to die.)

Outside the plane, however, Guslant fighter jets attempted to surround the plane, causing it to land.

"G-Leader to G-2 and G-3, I want the wings surrounded and the plane to lower altitude," said one of the pilots.

"Roger that G-Leader, G-2 copy, G-2 clear," said another. Two the planes flew right above the wings as the third flew straight above the cockpit. This would work under normal circumstances, however, these were not normal circumstances.

The soldiers stopped. "Are those Guslant planes outside?" one said, hoping reinforcements had arrived.

That really set the pilot off. Putting the assistant pilot in charge, the pilot grabbed the emergency pistol. What that soldier had said made him believe these so-called "rogues" were in trouble. He wanted to help.

"ALRIGHT, NOBODY MOVE! NOBODY [gorilla]ING MOVE! I'LL HAVE YOU ROGUES BROUGHT TO JUSTICE!" yelled the pilot, pulling out his pistol and aiming it at the soldiers, who were in fact not rogues at all.

Despite the tensions, however, the plane continued to fly. The Star was over Zemnaya Svoboda now; there wasn't much time left before it passed through Zemnaya Svoboda and through New Haven America to Syrixia.

Little did the plane staff and Edmund (who was listening to everything) know, the navy had set up a trap. If the Star did not land early of Balamb in another Syrixian airport, the highly advanced Syrixian armada waiting for them in Balamb's waterspace would gun the plane down. The soldiers knew; all they had to do was tell the pilot.

But why would he listen to "rogues"?
