Ok, so, I roleplay a lot. That's obvious. But while I've done that, I've been developing a language. While my nation's official language is American English, there is also a traditional language: Syrixian. So, I figured; why not answer some questions about it? Got something you want translated into Syrixian or just questions on the language? Post here!

Here are some basic words for reference's sake:

I- Sa
You- Chu
Him/Her- Qai

We- Saadi
You All- Chulei
Them- Qaizan

(Singular) The- Di
(Plural) The- Dyes (PRONOUNCED THE SAME AS "DIEZ" IN SPANISH)

Like- Fruqotu
Love- Amirun
Dislike- Zindru
Despise/Hate- Zaghelon

Everything- Chodelan
Nothing- Quezolen
Rainbows- Sheilopas

SO: If you wanted to say "I like rainbows" in Syrixian, for example, you would say:

"Sa fruqotu sheilopas!"

Or decline the nouns?

But i think you're doing a great job working on the alphabet, Syrixia. It's coming along nicely! :)

~ Tomb

Bootsie:
Must you conjugate these verbs?
Actually in Syrixian it's rather simple; you just say the infinitive because in Syrixian the infinitive has a different meaning.

Not exactly sure, I'm not a professional linguist. I don't wanna put certain things in categories, I just wanna make a bunch of words you can piece together and use as a language.

Simplified: We Syrixians like simplicity.

Did you know that in Eumenor, Syrixian is currently the 6th most commonly spoken language? By contrast, Eumenorian is almost never spoken in Syrixia; it's just too complicated for them.

Interesting! But yeah, we Syrixians like simplicity.

Scandigrad:
How does one distinguish tense?
I'll be covering that in the next lesson, of which I shall post next weekend. Unless you guys want it earlier.

you forgot the s after renaissaqot since it's plural, and there's no need to capitalize it either. But still LOL

Today we're gonna talk about countries! Let's use some prominent Syrixian allies as examples of country names in Syrixian; but before we do that we need to know some basic words. TO NOTE: There are no contractions in Syrixian. Now, let's begin!

Am- Diq

From- Qula

Go- Ire

To- Ciin

Of- Eru

AND NOW FOR THE COUNTRIES!

Eumenor- Chulrunuur

Territorio Di Nessuno- (Territory of Nessuno in English) Ghuredulena Eru Neschunlen

Guslantis- Dusponti'Es (PRONOUNCED Du-SPONT-eee-ES)

HMS Unicorn- QMC Renaissaqot (QMC= Qai Majecut Ceneloqt, or Her/His Majesty's Vessel, which is what HMS stands for)

McMasterdonia- EleEnidonihe

However, there is one country, oddly, that is represented by only numbers in Syrixian.

Flemingovia- 666

SOOOOOOO, ANY QUESTIONS ON TODAY'S LESSON?

What are the demonyms of the countries? For example, what would a Syrixian call a Guslant?

Take the last letter of that country's name and replace it with a q.

For example:

Dusponti'Es -----> Dusponti'Eq
Guslantis -----> Guslant

If you want to make it plural, add an s after the q since it's, well, plural.

Sweet lord, I completely forgot about this. I'll be updating the OP shortly, since instead of daily updates I'll just take questions.

Ryccia in Syrixian is "R'yok-cce", pronounced "ree-YOLK-chay".
