Malvad
TNPer
Hello everyone! As some have already announced their intent to run, I would like to announce that I shall stand for Vice Delegate in the coming election. I will be posting a campaign thread at a later time. I am here now to tell who I am and why I wish to run.
This April I will have been in TNP, and NS, for three years. This was my first region and this is the only region I have ever successfully stayed active in, although I have been around many others. In my time here I have served as a member of the NPA on two separate periods of time and I am currently a sergeant. I am ambassador to the British Isles, Canada, and the Land of Kings and Emperors. From May of this year to September I served as Deputy Minister of Culture and I am now the Minister of Culture.
Now you may ask, why does Malvad want to run for VD? This is of course an excellent question. But first a little background information. For a very long time my goal in TNP has been Minister of Culture. It is the position I had longed to hold. I have always been fascinated and interested in the ministry. When Lennart was in charge I offered my help if he ever needed it. I did the same when Lord Nwahs took over the ministry and he offered to make me his deputy minister. I was so excited to have the chance to work so much with the ministry. When Lord Nwahs was elected speaker, I was overjoyed that r3n wanted to have me as his new Minister of Culture. I finally had attained my goal.
So why do I want to leave the ministry for VD? The answer is that I have set a new goal. My new goal is to be Vice Delegate. I have become very interested in the position in the past few months and even considered running in the last general election. I have always wanted to work for the betterment of TNP and I believe I can positively impact the region as Vice Delegate. I am willing to work with whoever is elected Delegate and I will continue to work as hard as I can to benefit TNP.
As others have already said they will do, I will be campaigning through the forum, RMB, telegrams, and even IRC. If anyone has any questions about why I am running or anything about me, please feel free to ask me here, through PM, or on AMA in the Culture Ministry.
Thank you and happy election season!
