THE CRONAAL TIMES

On Y692 E8, a new military discovery in Azkay, a nation under Cronaal's wing, has led to one of the most scary inventions of the Era, a large military super-vehicle named Aski'Vor di Volse Mk. IIV. It is the first Class VI weapon produced and is rumored to be able to cause mass destruction and has destroyed entire 'test-colonies' in Northern Abensca. People all over the three nations are deciding whether or not this weapon-vehicle hybrid should be allowed to be used by the Cronaali-Azkay Army. Thousands are protesting before the Crimson Palace of Cronaal's capital city, Ganjarius. If passed legal, this could end the 8th Cronaalian Era and give birth to a 9th Techno-Military conquest if Akotye Mark Anworth II is wooed by his Military Adviser, Uyrea Illnois.

There is news however, Akotye Mark Anworth II has asked nations across The North Pacific on their thoughts and advice on this very careful matter. One wrong decision and there could be war or civil unrest.
The main reason for the protesting is the vehicles micro-matter conversion which converts pure matter into nuclear energy to be used for large-power shots which can destroy large chunks of suburban city areas and small villages. If enough are produced, these vehicle-weapons could end a war with a few months to a year, including the Syrixian War currently taking place.

Malvad condemns the idea of using such a destructive weapon. It is a great threat to civilians and could result in a monumental loss of life, land, and economic security. Malvad would also like to inquire what is meant by "test colonies" and if they included any testing on citizens. Nuclear energy is very powerful and can cause great destruction when in the wrong hands.

Malvad does however propose that the technology be used to implement clean renewable energy. Such technology would greatly benefit every nation of The North Pacific.

Syrixia agrees with Malvad, in part. We should use these and have these distributed regionwide to fend off the Europeans, and then not use them anymore.

In other words: USE IN DIRE OCCASIONS ONLY.

Malvad disagrees with Syrixia proposing that the region actually uses this atrocious weapon. Your militaristic viewpoint is quite frightening.

Uyrea Illnois: I, the Military Adviser for Cronaal's Akotye, disagree with both of your opinions. This weapon has the power and capability to save hundreds of thousands of lives, the wars the vehicle would be involved in would be so short that it wouldn't enter civilian land.
Akotye Anworth does however disagree with this opinion but I still state it as valid.

Has Cronaal considered the possible environmental implications of this weapon? Nuclear energy could be very damaging to the region's ecosystem, climate, and environment. I understand it could quickly end a war but so could a nuclear bomb, and thereally are ovlbvious reasons those are not used.

McMasterdonia is willing to support the development of this weapon, if cronaal agrees to offer exclusive rights to McMasterdonia and its allies to buy this weapon from Cronaal.

A weapon such as this would be hugely useful in putting down Rebels and terrorists

Akotye Anworth:
We have considered the enviromental implications of the vehicle. I, a lab scientist, am considering the large amount of negatives of this, the Aski'vor di Volse in itself is much more powerful than a nuclear weapon because it is able to do continuous attacks, continuous nuclear explosions. The effects of this are detrimental to more than just the environment and animal life.

We could however gain revenue from this by selling models of the vehicle across the region and possibly further. I however dislike this idea incase it's used against Cronaal or an ally.

I, as Akotye of Cronaal, Azkay and Abensca, agree with your decision.

It shall not be mass produced and the prototype shall be placed into a museum within the lower floors of the Crimson Palace.

Eumenor is troubled by this. We urge Cronaal to not create such a weapon for security and humanity and human rights. However, Eumenor is developing its own nuclear power plants, focussing on Fusion. This could solve the energy crisis. How does your reactor work? We could use this technology to promote peace.

Well, again, we said DIRE OCCASIONS ONLY. Like, region threatening. Those occasions are rather rare...

NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS?! NEVER MIND GET RID OF THE DAMN THING BEFORE IT KILLS US ALL!!!

Yes, nuclear.
As said in the newspaper article, it turned pure matter into nuclear energy.

The USF condemns the use of such a weapon, the destructive power it would grant any government is unacceptable. Although it does have its uses in dfed ing the region, the potential for it to be turned against neighboring countries is too great. That being said, Folmerica wishes to contribute in the development of an alternative energy source, using the technology that powers this weapon. We have some of the region's best scientists and the universities, academics and corporations would happily contribute resources, research and knowledge to the project.

We should develop the matter-conversion unit further, we could use this to generate fission power for the region and crush Cronaal's ever rising fossil fuel 'bills', caused by our highly advanced state of life.

Yes. Maybe sign a treaty of sorts to make if official?
