Office of the Attorney General

I have decided to reorganize the Office of the Attorney General in order to fulfill the legal obligations of this Office.

In order to provide complete legal representation to the nations of The North Pacific, the Office of the Attorney General will be separated into two divisions: Criminal and Legal Services.

The Criminal Division will be staffed by three Deputy Attorneys General. These officers will be responsible for assisting the Attorney General in the handling of criminal complaints filed with this Office. Such duties will include criminal investigations, indictments, Court filings, et cetera.

The Legal Services Division will be headed by one Deputy Attorney General. This officer will be responsible for assisting the Attorney General in providing legal advice to the Delegate, and the Executive, of The North Pacific.[1]

In the event that no criminal filings are on record or in need of investigation, the Deputy Attorneys General will work as needed at the direction of the Deputy Attorney General in charge of the Legal Services Division. Likewise, if there are no legal services to be addressed, the Deputy Attorney General will work as needed at the direction of the Deputy Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division.

The structure of this Office is subject to change based upon workload and should not be considered permanent.
