In light of recent events within The North Pacific region, and all regions at large, the Dominion of Volande has decided to remove himself from voluntary isolation and is willing to open his borders and permit intergovernmental communications in an attempt to ensure his interests are represented accordingly.
To all who are unfamiliar with the Dominion of Volande, we will introduce our ruler, give a brief detail of our national history, and open the floor to any questions.
To begin with, a brief history:
Volande is an Archipelago in the extreme north, above Wrangel Island. Originally founded as a whaling base, he is renowned for his hardy peoples, less-than-perfect war for independence in 1960, and more-than-perfect war for independence in 1965. He is known as an environmental haven, with over two-thirds of the entire archipelago. There is a focus on tourism and oppression as his current means of revenue.
Moving forward, we shall introduce our ruler using the... quaint questionnaire supplied.
