Greetings and Salutations,

My name is Mark and I am the almsot always willing ruler of the NS Spadanera. I enjoy a very light and casual involvement with NationStates, but I keep considering getting more involved with the game. Unfortunately, while I do enjoy role-playing, my political expertise is limited at best and I would most likely spend more time retracting and being corrected than anything else. I have tried my hand at writing submissions for the WA but failed miserably twice and decided it was all too technical and deatil oriented for my aging mind. I do like what I see so far in the forums and the game. So, I am very confident that I have joined a very active region. Who knows, maybe in time I can glean enough knowledge from the other member nations to see where this new road leads to. Until then, I may just be somewhat of a lurker.

I do enjoy role-playing games (old school paper and dice) but I have never done FORUM RP'ing before. I have always been a creative soul and I enjoy writing short stories, poetry, song lyrics and I usually prefer being the DM to the player. I am not sure how any of that can contribute to the regional side of the NS game, but I am willing to do anything I can muddle my way through without too much public humiliation.

We actually have WA101 classes running at the moment, that might help you a little bit more with you WA proposal writing ambitious. Don't worry about being corrected & what not, post your political opinions on here and let us know what you think about stuff. If another citizen/RA member disagrees they will let you know.

Welcome to The North Pacific!
I am sure you will have tons of fun here!
We have some really intense legislature at times, which you can enjoy if you like that sort of thing.
In addition to that we also have some thrilling Role Play threads that you can contribute to!
And if you are looking for experience and work to do here, well we do have our Executive Staff, Regional Assembly, and the North Pacific Army.
It is always great to have another personality and character on the team :)
And my friend, I do understand what you mean about being humiliated, but in here, we are all friends, and I do encourage you to try and participate. And as McM said, we do have WA classes and you can access those right HERE.
