A new flag flies over The West Pacific.
On 28 August, the Delegate-In-Waiting Darkesia gained enough endorsements to overtake the outgoing Delegate All Good People, also known as Westwind, and assume the in-game delegacy. In her first address to the region, she announced that a Generalite, Fearless, was being appointed a regional Guardian to represent the Generalite community in The West Pacific. She also announced that Huangshi would become the regional Scribe, and readers can look forward to seeing his features in future updates. Intelligent Holograms, the newly elected Prime Minister
Westwind stepped aside as Prime Minister, and Intelligent Holograms motioned the Speaker to open up nominations for Prime Minister. The candidates were God-Emperor and Intelligent Holograms. Intelligent Holograms got six votes, and God-Emperor got one vote. Congratulation to Intelligent Holograms for becoming Prime Minister of TWP.

One of outgoing Delegate All Good People's final acts as delegate was to announce the resolution of hostilities between Bhang Bhang Duc and the Council Of The Guardians, and BBD was subsequently reinstated as a Guardian with the release of the following statement.
The Holy Grand Assembly Recap
The recent Prime Minister election raised a question in the mind of at least one Assemblyman about what would happen if an individual previous appointed to a position was elected to another, and would and should that individual retain both positions. The rationale was that occupying only one position at a time would allow for more citizens to get involved in government. The proposal gained some support, but whether or not a draft of the legislation is forthcoming remains to be seen. The election of Intelligent Holograms did not lead this situation to arise, but he is using the Assembly as his temporary office until construction on the new Prime Minister Office is complete.
