Um. Can either the outgoing or incoming court weigh in on this neverending request? I'm still inclined to reject it but that might be me being slow to update my thinking.

If it matters, he's no longer AG and therefore doesn't automatically have standing anymore.

I think your response in thread pretty much sums it up. Besides, he's not asking for a ruling about a specific law, so there is nothing for us to rule on.
