If you want justice, Vote Leekem

Leekem

TNPer
Good day citizens of Tnp,
I am Chief Justice Leekem and will be telling why I should be reelected as justice. During my tenure as justice we have made progress in the courts. Now, I came at a disadvantage of having only one month to familiarize myself with the courts processes and how rulings go. Now I haven’t been in the courts my whole career, but I’ve been there long enough to know we need a change in the courts.
When I was elected there really wasn't much for me to do, but we've discussed what we would like to do in the near future. I think having more experience will help me now if reelected.Justice Roman, Flem, and I have started conversing about RL proceedings and that it is too ambiguous. We need to clear up some of that confusion with proposing new legislatures to the regional assembly. We need to make it so that trials are speedy and quick. I believe when trials drag on their tends to be more confusion and the outcome may not be accurate and concrete. That’s our job as justices, to make sure every citizen gets the proper justice by the law and that is what I’ve done in my proposals and that is the kind of justice we need. I believe it will come at a disadvantage of TNP to change the courts now; we have made so much progress. Roman, I, and Flem started to work on the clarification of fraud, encourage laws to provide clarification of fraud. We’ve started to work on Rl proceeding to make it comprehensible. I believe I am fit to retain my seat on the bench. I believe my knowledge that came from being Chief Justice as a month provides a little more stability to the court. I petitioned for your vote and I can understand if you don’t trust me with. Thank you and ask any questions because I am here to serve you.

Really? I must have missed that.

Reality is you disappeared soon after you were elected and have only re-emerged to campaign for your re-election.

You were appointed as Chief Justice on 14th February, made two posts on 23 February and then went silent until 1st March, when you posted in response to a thread asking where the hell you had got to.

My question is why we should elect you for another term, when you average one post a week. Even by TNP court standards, that is lame.

Well Flem, I'll tell you why. I've spoken with Roman and we've discussed the issues and it has also been on my agenda. Now what I want to do will take some time. Change is not easy, but it is inevitable and now is not the time to bicker. I have discussed it and I believe im fully fit to be reelected on the bench. Now I came at a disadvantage but don't disparage me. I will stand strong and run my race. I want your vote so very much but if you feel I don't deserve it, well it is in the interest of TNP.

Leekem, can you name one concrete accomplishment that you have made while in office? Planning for future accomplishments does not count.

Ok, one accomplishment I was able to do was help create an clarification on fraud for Attorney General Kiwi.

This is not bickering. this is informing the electorate. If you had been honest and said "By the time I was elected there was no real time to do anything, but if you elect me again at least I understand the system now and can hit the ground running." that would have been honest and positive. But when you make posts like this:

I have made a contribution to the court since I've been here from a month

then you are being disingenuous, and need to be called out on it.

I want change. I hoped new blood might bring new energy and new ideas. Now I am no so sure you are the person to provide that.

Flem, you are right and I apologize. Id truly believed I came into office with a vibrant energy and a sense of duty for change. I still want to give you that change, I still want your vote and I still want to be justice.
