Rebellion Ends - Migration Act Passed

The December Revolt has ended in all major cities with the trial and execution of all rebel leaders by the Imperial Loyalist Government Forces. During his address to the nation Emperor Dimitrius XIV confirmed that he is alive and still in control of the nation after the failed attempt on his life.

Valkany has decided to pursue improved diplomatic relations with other North Pacific nations. More specifically Valkany has requested an embassy in McMasterdonia and has begun an embassy program of her own. (see below for a link to the embassy program)

In other news Valkany has decided to enlarge her fleet component by purchasing 2 new Nimitz class aircraft carriers and 4 new Kirov class heavy nuclear powered missile cruisers. During his speech aboard the new IVS Skdova the minister of defence, lord Fritz Von Stauffenburg made it clear that Valkany is fully equipped and prepared to defend her sovereign borders from rogue nations. This comes during a new dispute over the Algolian Isles.

The Valkanian government has expressed Valkany's intention to become more actively engaged in the defense and military matters of the North Pacific. Valkanian forces have been added to the North Pacific's Auxiliary Force with the Valkanian ministry of North Pacific Affairs negotiating the relocation of the North Pacific Northeastern fleet's Admiralty to Dimitrisburg or Zessionsford. There are also reports of a new submarine base being constructed in Vostok.
