Political Ideology?: In summary, I'm a Liberal Democrat who supports the Nordic model as a sustainable and fair "middle ground" between capitalism and socialism, in terms of both social and economic policy. I support: egalitarianism; LGBT and women's rights; an extensive welfare state with help to those unable to find work and those trapped in the "poverty trap"; nationalisation of key industries; free healthcare to all, including dental care; extensive public transport, free for those otherwise unable to pay; social housing; responsible capitalism and regulation of business; low barriers to free trade and a restriction on monopolies; environmentalism; and a good mix of community spirit and individualism. I also support the European Union and greater integration of the United Kingdom, including the possibility of adopting the Euro in future when it is more stable, although I'm not fixed on the idea.
