My current rule of thumb is:

GDP per capita = Economy * $500
GDP = GDP per capita * population
Govt Budget = Public Sector %age * GDP
Military budget = Defense %age * Govt Budget

This is assuming however that we hold to the NS populations and that we don't assume some other calculation.

Thoughts?
