I would like to ask that the above linked topic from 1 year ago please be released to the public. It would constitute valuable evidence in the case of TNP v Grosseschnauzer, and as far as I know there is no need to keep it classified at this date. (An appropriate destination for it could be the RA Discussion Archive).

The law requires me to make this petition of the Delegate, and it states that:
17. The Delegate and the designated officers of the Executive will endeavour to retrieve information requested from the different departments of the government, who are obligated to release this information provided it will not and/or does not present a threat to regional security or unduly impinge on the privacy of private citizens, and
18. Citizens which do not receive this information for any reason not specifically designated in appropriate laws or regulations may file a request for the information in a regional court, where the Delegate and the designated officers of the Executive may present evidence that addresses any claim that release of the information impairs Regional security.

Delegate mcmasterdonia, please consider my request swiftly, and consult with the appropriate officials such as the Speaker, so as to not drag TNP v Grosseschnauzer on even longer.

Thank you for your consideration,

On principle, I object to comments of mine made in private discussions being later released without my consent into the public domain, without it being understood in advance that this might be the case.

Flem, in the entire thread your sole remark was,[snip] I know, it can be painfully embarrassing to have one's sentence fragments made public. :console:

The FOI law is useless if requires the consent of all parties participating. Actually it would be impossible, since not everyone is even around anymore. I think we need to use common sense and consider whether the release of the information unduly impinges on the privacy of private citizens. In this instance, I can't see why it would.

GBM, my opening words of my post were "On Principle." My objection has nothing to do with the content of my post. My objection, which I have held consistently, has to do with posts which people make in private later being opened to general view.

But yeah. Thanks for posting my post BEFORE it was declassified. Reported.
