Summer Lull
Not much to say and not much to do. The summer days continue to pass by slowly here in Lazarus with the typical Lazarene seen waking up at 1pm to start their day and having it end whenever sun comes up and the cokes run out. The hot and humid air rolls over much of the region; air-conditions on full blast in every Council members’ car as they head to the emerald camber to vote on another council application. In the Delegate’s Palace, most of the royalty have been fighting the heat with the nearly endless supply of green tea delivered by the truckloads daily. Phoenixes, which roam the land freely in the millions, have migrated to the most southern parts of Lazarus to escape the temperatures and avoid their already fire-lit wings from catching more fire. The government has issues “Summer Lull” warnings and has begun broadcasting ways to beat the boredom in an effort to combat this lull-ness. Nerds down in technical have suggested that the government season up the forums with summer flowers and swim trucks but it was quickly dismissed as being “kinda weird.” The days continue to move by hot and slowly but the region has buckled in for the regional Summer Lull.

Things That Have Happened These Past Months
- FRAVision: Lazarus successfully held FRAVision in May. Since Viktoria Gryfynn, long time Lazarene and royal family member, won the contest on behalf of Lazarus last year, we were given the honor to host it for 2013. After screwing around with the forums and planning with representatives from the FRA, the contest went on without any issues.
- Balder Treaty: With rumors about Rach and Feux running all over the place, we figured "Why not make them worse?" So have some short discussion and plenty of treaty drafting, Lazarus and Balder entered into a formal alliance on May 22 when the Emerald Council approved the treaty.
- Cabinet Changes: Some small changes to the Emerald Cabinet were made by the King back in April. Stujenske, regional regent, was moved to the position of Internal Commissioner after serving some time as Exterior Commissioner. The position of Exterior Commissioner was filled by Heronlords.
- Regional History Project: Some front has been made with the regional history project, taking old records and typing them out into a complete history of the region. The project is predicted to be finished soon and will be posted in the culture office as well as the regional NSWiki.
- King and Security Council: The Phoenix King has passed a total of four Security Council resolutions since taking office. King Feux said "Some have been easier to pass then others but it has all been good fun."
