Ladies and Gentleman,
As friends of TWP, you are all invited to attend The West Pacific's first Debating Competition held on The West Pacific's forums. Beginning on the 30th June 2013 (ending on the 12th July) teams of two will debate each other on controversial issues surrounding our world today in a competition leading to the crowning of the first TWP debating champions! Debates will be held over the course of three days, the first day features opening remarks from a member of the 'pro' team followed by a rebuttal from a member from the 'contra' team; day two begins with a rebuttal from the 'pro' team and ends with closing remarks from the 'contra' team; day three sees questions asked by the viewing public. Topics will be announced the day before a debate begins and they will be topical and, most likely, controversial. All debates will be moderated by Intelligent Holograms, Interior Minister for The West Pacific.
