Having been a justice on the court in the past, I would like to offer up my services once again to The North Pacific in the legal department.

In my capacity as Justice I can promise to deliberate in an impartial and non-political manner, adhering to the letter of the law and Constitution without forgetting the Spirit of the Law and Constitution.

If you have any questions, please ask them. It is important to know why you are voting for someone who may become a Justice on the court.

That was what I thought, but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

Now that we've cleared that up ( ), no, I can't think of anything that would even remotely cause me to even contemplate violating the Constibillocode.

The job of a Justice is to interpret the law in terms of Constitution and apply those laws in constitutional ways and all the time avoiding any violation of the Bill of Rights. Essentially, legislating from the bench is an obscenity.

What are your thoughts on the current litigation culture in TNP? Do you think the Court can and/or should address this, or is it an issue for the RA alone?

What are your thoughts on the current litigation culture in TNP? Do you think the Court can and/or should address this, or is it an issue for the RA alone?

Actually, in the past month or so, it's been fairly, and in some instances, extremely expedient.

The litigation 'culture' sometimes requires a bit of filtering of court cases - that is, we need to be careful in determining the 'merits' of certain cases before allowing them to go to trial. Perhaps a better enforcement of the level of evidence/proof required before a case can move to litigation. That is to say, in order for anything resembling an indictment to be handed down, the charges should initially be supported by enough evidence that would, standing alone, produce a cause for litigation or prosecution that is beyond a reasonable doubt. Over the years, I've seen some pretty thin sets of evidence used to file charges, or, rather, bring charges in the first place.

One of the tricks to improve the way the court works is to actually have the participants in court cases (defendants, et al) to participate in a timely fashion.
