Description: The Security Council,

Recognizing The Supreme Bunnyness of Krulltopia as the current World Assembly Delegate of The Pacific and Emperor of the New Pacific Order (NPO), the governing body of The Pacific;

Noting that Krulltopia has reigned in The Pacific for well over three years after being appointed to the position of Delegate by the previous Emperor of the New Pacific Order, Moo-Cows with Guns;

Further Noting that, over the course of those three plus years, Krulltopia has worked tirelessly and meticulously with only the aid of a few, very close allies to maintain the flawless security and stability of The Pacific, while promoting the safety of the other Pacific regions;

Acknowledging, as an example of the aforementioned dedication to regional security, Krulltopia’s exposure of former Balder Delegate, The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, when the nation was found to have infiltrated and gained control of assets owned by Balder’s former Vice Delegate, The Narnian Fox Lord of Fotar, and planned to use these stolen assets to assume complete control of Balder’s forums, usurp and cripple the nation of Fotar, and forcibly take control of the entire region of Balder;

Understanding that this exposure of Luxembourg’s corruption allowed the nation’s scheme to be halted preemptively before any significant damage could be done to Balder and to the nation of Fotar;

Further Recognizing Krulltopia as the first Pacific Delegate to ban the obsolete and disruptive practice of Regional Message Board (RMB) advertising, a decision which encouraged other Pacific governments to follow suit, resulting in encouraged international interaction within the Pacific regions;

Observing that Krulltopia has been an active member of The Pacific’s community and government for over eight years, working tirelessly to advance The Pacific in every aspect found in lines with regional culture and tradition;

Further Acknowledging the strong stands The Pacific has taken against regions that follow hateful ideologies, such as The Greater German Reich, under Krulltopia’s leadership;

Believing Krulltopia has performed spectacularly in the position of NPO Emperor and Delegate of The Pacific, preserving The Pacific as a bastion of stability, expanding the tight-knit NPO community, and rebuilding many of the formerly cherished features of the region’s government such as the Pacific Army, Pacific News Network, and the Peoples’ Congress;

Conceding that, while regional autocracies and meritocracies are not popular outside The Pacific, this system, which is now faithfully maintained and honoured by Krulltopia, has lasted in the region since antiquity, and is accepted and supported by all loyal and devoted denizens;"

Deeming Krulltopia’s enlightened leadership to be worthy of international and interregional appreciation;

The region of the Pacific has one of the most interesting and well known histories in the entirety of NationStates. As the resolution notes, Krulltopia came into power following his appointment, a successor to the same government that Francos Spain first founded following his revolution in the Pacific.

Security Council Resolutions are often difficult to form an official position on, as the question is raised as to whether or not a nation has done *enough* to merit a commendation, along with whether or not the resolution is factually sound.

The facts of the resolution are generally correct, though naturally there is debate over some of the material. The role of the Pacific in the coup of TSP, or rather its reaction to that coup, has led to a small amount of discontent in some circles, most notably TSP and various defender groups.

It is the position of the WA Affairs Office that Krulltopia is a part of a much larger system which has created a unique Feeder region, so to some degree the entirety of the Pacific would deserve commendation. That having been said, Krulltopia's dedication to the region is notable, so this Office will recommend that nations vote FOR this proposal.

Sorry, but no. That Krulltopia's government has taken a position of neutrality on the coup of The South Pacific, while tacitly supporting the coup in their statement and turning a blind eye to the Commander of The Pacific Army being in the region and providing propaganda support to Milograd's regime (not even to mention that Milo is a citizen and TPA soldier in good standing as well), erases any credibility either Krulltopia or The Pacific have on "promoting the safety of the other Pacific regions." They are right this minute in the process of undermining the safety of The South Pacific, they have burned quite a bit of goodwill in doing so, and it's time for them to see just how much they've burned.

Technically you should now be abstaining, as the two 'abstain' votes reduce the 'against' vote to 3/7 which is under half.

If the 'abstain' votes had been recorded as 'present' instead of 'abstain' then the total would be 3/5 and in that situation a vote 'against' would be called for. This is the difference between 'abstain' votes and 'present' votes and the reason why citizens are given four choices instead of three.

The delegate has the right to vote as he sees fit, I just thought I should explain :)

I just did a quick search of our laws and procedures, and I cannot find "present", even for the RA (which Jamie knows you know I know you know this isn't).
