The Founderless Regions Alliance (FRA) has sent three spies to infiltrate the government of the Imperial Republic of Ainur. First and foremost, this infiltration is an internal legal and political matter for the people of Ainur to address as they see fit. We in Europeia stand ready to help our friends in Ainur if asked, but because Ainur is a region with its own strong institutions and traditions, we do not expect such a request to be forthcoming.

Our respect for Ainur’s sovereignty does not compel us to ignore the FRA's hypocrisy. This is the latest in a long line of offenses by the FRA, including past attempts to infiltrate sovereign regions and subvert the prerogatives of native populations. These actions prove that the FRA's professed support of native prerogatives is nothing but propaganda. Indeed, it appears that the only indigenous communities whose rights the FRA truly cherishes are Nazis who wish to use their in-game presence to bully gays and Jews. We are heartened to see a growing number of regions with no truck for the raider/defender game – and even some defenders – condemning the FRA’s bad behavior.

Europeia recently severed its longstanding diplomatic relations with the FRA, based on the FRA's violations of norms of war in NationStates that are normally accepted by raiders and defenders alike. In light of our traditions of openness and independence, however, we had allowed FRA Arch-Chancellor Wopruthien to continue to access our forums as a diplomat. Unfortunately, we have now reached a point where we can no longer condemn the reprehensible policies of an organization while giving a complete pass to the man who leads that organization. Accordingly, Wopruthien’s diplomatic credentials have been revoked, and he is persona non grata in Europeia. We urge other independent-minded regions that cherish their sovereignty to re-evaluate whether relations with the FRA and members of its senior leadership continue to serve their best interests.

To my knowledge no official comment has been made by the FRA, but some members have made comments on the matter.
