Abstain

From a legal standpoint the job of the VD is rather simple, be second in endorsements in case something happens to the delegate and chair the SC. The second part is what I really want to focus on with my campaign.
The SC is a useful body, but isn't being used to its fullest potential. A big part of this comes from it being set up when knowledge of influence was minimal. Since then, with the help of Elu, I've come to have a larger understanding of influence. I plan to work with the SC to make sure everyone is gaining influence at a rate to keep the region secure but without requiring too much on their end.
As things stand the SC does its job but it is far from perfect as Elu's recall showed. When the Vice Delegate was not in a position to immediately take over it fell to the SC. While Eras was easily able to take the delegate seat it showed we were unprepared and confused to take action one of the more secure and safe situations (the only problems being a couple of pesky unendo campaigns).
As the game progresses those wishing to cause harm will become more and more sophisticated in their attacks. Just because we have a large number of high influence nations doesn't make us safe. In certain ways it makes us vulnerable and presents obvious targets for attacks. To counter this we need to make sure we are prepared for such attacks.
And come on, don't you want to see abstain win an election?
