Listed below are the polices as outlined by the Attorney General. These policies shall guide this office and any policies in conflict with any part of the Legal Code, Constitution, or adopted rules of the court shall be subordinate to said rules/laws.

  • Deputy Attorney Generals may be appointed by this office from time to time in order to handle the increasing caseload of this office.
  • If a Deputy Attorney General is assigned to a case, he/she shall serve as the primary prosecutor in that case.
  • In any case where a Deputy Attorney General is the primary prosecutor the Attorney General shall serve as the secondary prosecutor.
  • At his/her discretion, the Attorney General can reassign Deputies to different cases.

Modified November 21, 2012.

The policy is that you'll be assigned cases at the discretion of the AG. I usually will assign new DAGs to lower level cases to see how they do.
