Scandigrad for VD and Co6

Hello! As many of you know, I am Scandigrad, and I am looking for your vote for both Vice Delegate and Council of Six!

So what experience do I have? Well, that's pretty straightforward. Most of my experience has revolved around the Ministry of Defense. I have served as the Deputy Minister of Defense under McMasterdonia since the formation of the NPA, and we work very well together. I am also currently serving as ambassador to both Nysa and Balder. Finally, I was chosen as the "Best Deputy Minister of 2012".

One of the important aspects of running for Vice Delegate is being able to work with the Delegate. McMasterdonia and I have worked closely in the past, he as the Minister of Defense, and I as his deputy. I have a very positive working relationship with him, and believe that, if elected VD, would be able to foster that relationship for the betterment of the North Pacific.

As Vice Delegate, I would be working side by side with the current delegate to run the region. I am more than willing to render whatever assistance he may need, and to make sure his plans are executed accordingly. One of my focuses however, is Roleplay. I would like to see RP continue to foster in this region. We started off strong about a month ago, but fell off when the drama with Eluvatar picked up. I would like to see a return of RP activity to the region.

If elected to the Council of Six, I would like to continue my work in the Ministry of Defense, since that is where the bulk of my experience is. I will guarantee that the NPA is operated as the Delegate directs. It is worth noting that I was voted "Best Deputy Minister of 2012". I have experience handling the Council of Five, and believe this would be invaluable, should I be elected to the Council of Six.

Other than the North Pacific, I have no other regional ties or citizenship. This means that my focus will be on the North Pacific, and all of my actions will have the best interest of The North Pacific in mind.

Activity also seems to be a hot topic. I have been very active in the community, and plan on continuing this activity. I check the forums and the IRC on a daily basis. This trend will continue, regardless of whether I get elected to either office.

I hope this answers any of your questions, but I am more than willing to field anything you've got!

I have a very serious question I am asking all candidates - what is your position on the abuse of purple? Will you protect purple from abuse by persons?

It is annoying and unprofessional, but citizens have the right to use whatever color they wish, provided it is not extremely distracting.

As for RA voting, everyone must follow the decorum set by the Speaker, even if that includes a color restriction.

By the way, Scandigrad, good platform. I think bringing back roleplay is very worthwhile and it's something you have both the imagination and determination to accomplish.

Roleplay doesn't defend regions, and doesn't keep us safe. What experience do you have, if any, in an active security management role? How many times have you deployed, or led troops into battle? How many times have you organized the defense of a region? What specific experience do you have recruiting, training, and organizing an effective fighting force to defend or seize a region, which would qualify you to carry out these duties in support of our region's goals and treaty obligations?

Also, I would like to note that your assertion that you've been involved with the North Pacific Army since its creation is factually incorrect. The North Pacific Army has existed in various forms for years. I was Minister of Defense in 2007. I was also a General of the North Pacific Army. This isn't about me, of course, but it is about history. This region's history is rich and varied. It would behoove any office-seeker to make an effort to learn that history.
