Recently, Camwood sent a personal message to Tyler that was reported to the forum moderation team for review. The PM sought personal information about Tyler and impersonated (or falsely claimed) to be working for [forum] administration.
The forum moderation team has reviewed the personal message that was sent, and the response provided by Camwood to questions that was put to him by [me].
The forum moderation team has determined that a 40% warning should be imposed and that but for Camwood's candor in his response, he would have been assessed a 60% warning.
We are also issuing this formal public reprimand in order to emphasize that the forum moderation team takes a very stern view of attempts to obtain or use personal real life information about forum members that violate the Terms of Service and Terms of Use that govern these forums. We have, in the past, issued permanent bans for such behavior that involved personal information. We want to emphasize that such conduct is not tolerated and is not acceptable.
Because it was a personal message that was used, the text is not being disclosed in accord with our policy about personal messages.
