I have contributed greatly to the functioning of our Council of Five. I have driven it to ensure that all our essential government duties are performed. I have chaired its meetings, as Delegate, and I have voted to promote the best interests of The North Pacific on the many executive policy questions we have considered. I am widely respected as a clear-thinking and intelligent contributor.
Under the Council's remit, I have served as Minister of Immigration and Internal Affairs. Toward its duties I (and assistants) have assisted new members with all questions they may have had, and have assisted the Speaker and forum administration in reviewing applicants to the Regional Assembly for security purposes. I have enlisted the aid of others in writing new regional FAQ documents, but have not yet succeeded in getting them written. It seems however that soon there will be enough material in the Ministry's answers to particular questions to put together a good FAQ from them alone.
