I have seen plenty of the North Pacificians have the regional flag as their national flag. I was thinking that only the delegate may use the regional flag as his or her national flag during their term as Delegate. What do you think?
I agree it does not look illegal to me either, and I believe all members should be able to use the flag whenever they wish. Especially since it is the flag of the TNP, and not a flag of office such as a flag that was specially designed for the Office of Delegate.
Technically Chapter 7 of the new legal code specifies the flag should only be used for official purposes, but the Criminal Code explicitly says that private citizens can only be punished for violations of it, and does not include using the flag for unofficial purposes as a crime, so yeah.
I don't think the flag should be used for unofficial purposes, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable enforcing such a ban.
