Pinned / Moved not showing up correctly

Just look at the forum this post is in to see how 'moved' looks in the topic area and this forum to see how the pinned topics now appear. It appears to be a simple lapse of coding, like an end tag is missing.
 
Todd, I'm not sure I understand what you think the problem is.

The particular moved thread points to where the thread is currently located. I left a moved indicated for that thread because it was not being archived.

Generally, since we now use a local archive for the current areas, it should not be necessary to have a moved indicator for an archived thread. Which does not apply in this instance.
