This is the thread for nominating candidates for the April 2012 judicial elections.

These elections are to elect a Chief Justice, two Associate Justices, and an Attorney General to serve the term from April 17, 2012 through October 17th, 2012.

The following members of the Regional Assembly are eligible to run:

  10. Mahaj
  11. Pasargad

  14. Hileville
  15. Atrigea
  16. Romanoffia
  17. Barbakiueria
  18. flemingovia
  19. Jamie

A Candidate will be added to the list of nominees if they accept nomination or declare candidacy.

Nominations will open at 00:00 UTC on Sunday April 1st, 2012 (20:00 EDT on Saturday, March 31st) and close at 00:00 UTC on Sunday April 8th, 2012 (20:00 EDT on Saturday, April 7th).

Voting will be from 00:00 UTC on Wednesday April 11th (20:00 EDT on Tuesday, April 10th) to 00:00 UTC on Wednesday April 18th (20:00 EDT on Tuesday, April 17th).

This thread will be unlocked when nominations open, and shall serve as the venue for nominations.

Candidates:

Chief Justice: flemingovia, Hileville
Associate Justice: Agamemnon
Associate Justice: FALCONKATS
Attorney General: Grosseschnauzer

Being the Election Commissioner, I cannot run for Attorney General.
 
With less than an hour before the deadline for nominations, and since no one else is stepping forward to do so, I will run for Attorney General.

I am unsure what UTC represents, but is the election now not overdue?
