Here's an idea that I'm just floating for discussion that could be implemented voluntarily as an experiment. (no intent to submit this for formal discussion if there is no interest in this idea).

I notice (as many others no doubt also have) that there is no quick way to connect a forum member name to the corresponding nation without looking it up or just plain figuring it out on one's own. This is especially useful for forum members whose names do not necessarily correspond to their nation's name?

So, why not eventually have it (except in certain obvious cases) that each member have a link to their nation (if they indeed they have a nation) or their nations name in their signature? This way, everyone is identified in terms of the nation they rule.

Just a thought.

Already implemented.

Just go edit your forum profile and fill in your nation there :)
 
What would make that thing even better is being able to add a symbol, or the letters "WA" (in green perhaps?) when the provided nationstates name is the player's current WA name. It would make it useful for the Delegate or others active in the WA to locate forum members who are on the forums and have an active WA nation.

Just a thought.

PS This probably would have been better in the Suggestion Box. Or at least the main entry for the R.A. so non-R.A. members could respond to it.

Doh! I just noticed that. LOL!

I like Gross' idea of adding a green WA to it.
