A note that this action and post is not authorized by the Security Council and that the Security Council are not empowered to declare anyone as a Security Threat.

@Pasargad

In the future, could you please discuss this with the council first? I understand your desire to keep the region safe, but we are still a council and this is outside of our authority.

May I have an explanation of why should I withdraw the endorsement to the aforementioned nation?

The Empire of Pasargad 4 hours ago

The Winter Sidhe has been identified as a potential security threats to the Region.

While I understand the need for the TNPSC to discuss it, since its now out in the open, could Agamemnon explain this matter from his end?

There is nothing that I need to explain to the Security Council. As I told Pasargad in a TG, I was and am well within my legal rights for endorsements, but now that I have been declared a security threat -in public-, my nation will continually carry that stigma despite the Vice Delegate's word. So for that I thank you, Pasargad.

I have talk with The Faerie Dominion of The Winter Sidhe (aka Grimalkin) and have not found his current action to be in anyway a threat to the region or violation of any law. He is pursuing endorsement within an acceptable level of distance from the Delegate and had agreed to limit his endorsement to under 200 endorsements.

The Security Council is not empowered to decide who is a security threat. The power remains with the delegate.

As best as the Attorney General can tell, Pasargad violated no specific law in regards to his position, however, its seems very possible that he did overstep his defined powers and as such may have violated several clauses in the Bill of Right, specifically...

The Bill of Rights for all Nations of The North Pacific:
5. All Nations of The North Pacific have the right to be protected against the abuse of powers by any official of a government authority of the region. Any Nation of The North Pacific has the right to request the recall of any official of a government authority of the region in accordance with this Constitution, that is deemed to have participated in such acts.

The Attorney General recommends that if Grimalkin would like to take some legal course of action, he should adhere to the actions detailed above since that case may very well hold water. However, the Attorney General's office will not be pressing charges against Pasargad at this current time.

Since the Recall thread was closed, I'll post this here.

I've received proof that Pasargad was sending TGs instructing nations to unendorse the Winter Sidhe.

Here's a screen shot for those interested.

i still consider you a security threat to TNP and insist that your actions be reported to RA as a security threat to TNP. SC will vote on that soon.

The Security Council have voted to certify that Grimalkin (aka. Winter Sidhe) is not a Security Threat. The vote is 3-1 in favor of the above.

Until Felesia reaches an endorsement levels that is second highest in the region, Pasargad still has some responsibility as the outgoing Vice Delegate in the region with respect to regional.authority.
Another players was the one who reported the.issue about Winter Sidhe to me, and I posted the appropriate threads here relaying the information and asking S.C. Members For.xomment and input. I waa away from any keyboard as I was sleeping and Pasargad felt he needed to acts since neither Elu or Felt had chimed in.
I Don't think.he acted in bad faith, but he should have handled it.differently, and he should.have Relayed any developments to that thread blow-by-blow so that the rest of us could have responded before taking other steps on his own. But since he was outgoing Very.D. in A transition period, it would be incorrect to.say he has not authority in view of the Vice.Delegate's power to acts in place.of The.Delegate (it's in the Constitution) and under Clause 11 of the Bill of Rights.

Was it the wisest way? Probably not, but totally without authority? Not that, either.

That's all well and good, Gross, but I think it's up to the Regional Assembly at this point to decide his fate. I will not be withdrawing my recall request.

EDIT -

I also have a request. Since I was declared a Security Threat publicly on the RMB, I request that the Security Council post a statement there clearing my name. I also request that it be Pasargad, as the one who let this blow out of proportion, be the one to post the prepared statement along with an apology for acting out of turn and outside his authority.

Also on that note, I'm now the second highest in the region on the number of endorsements.

Edit: The Security Council will considered your request. Thread locked because I fear explosion....
