Eluvatar has declared that Grimalkin is removed from the office of Speaker, pending the conclusion of the trial, and that special elections for the Speaker of the Regional Assembly are to be held immediately.
As acting Delegate, I will appoint an Electoral Commission to conduct this election.
In accordance with TNP Law 26, Election Dates and Procedures, one or more Election Commissioners shall be designated by the Delegate to oversee and supervise the nominations and voting phase of an election. No one who may be a candidate in an election may serve as an Election Commissioner during that election. Membership in the Regional Assembly is not required, but careful attention to detail and familiarity with the Constitution and Legal Code of the North Pacific are important, as is some free time in the following weeks.
