My girlfriend says that I should be more refined and not blow my nose on the sidewalk. She suggests that I might use my small finger to pick my nose, so avoiding too much attention being brought in our direction which she finds most embarrassing. I love her dearly and want to please her, but I just can't decide which finger to use. Please help me!

I agree with your girlfriend. You should not blow your nose on the sidewalk. It is much too hard. Try using a tissue instead.
Plus, on the pinkie question, why not invest in an automatic mechanical nose-picker? They are all the rage in Britain, take all the effort out of excavating the nasal cavities and come in a range of stylish colours and textures.
