Apparently its time to nominate candidates for the Judicial Elections.

We're taking nominations for Justices, Chief Justice, and Attorney General.

In the earlier thread, both Graacius Maximus and Mr. Sniffles expressed their desire to run again.

(I do plan to stand again if the region will have me.)

I nominate GM for Justice. (We had the top vote getter be Chief last time, we'll have to do the same if the same three are elected and seniority doesn't work as a factor.)

And I nominate myself for Attorney General.

If it's necessary I'll second their noiminations, as well as FALCONKATS',

What are you talking about Gov? I don't see nominations occurring anywhere else.

Govindia, there were some premature declarations in the thread that solicited ECs. but those were before this thread was even started. I'm not aware of any other threads where nominations have been posted.

P.S. The roster of Regional Assembly members was verified and updated this weekend.

Apparently nominations ended sometime yesterday.

Luckily no one tried to nominate anyone else since then, so we're all good.

Not really, but since we have as many candidates as we have positions to fill, I think we're good.

You still have to have some kind of vote. That's been the practice under this constitution; and nominations alone an election do not make.

The candidates still have to be confirmed regardless of the number of candidates. And that should be done ASAP so voting can begin ASAP.

I never had to confirm anyone before and no one has told me the procedure.

See if they're all eligible for office (AFAIK all candidates are), start voting topic to confirm them into office. A PM to confirm activity wouldn't hurt, I've not seen Sniffles around for a bit.

As of this past weekend, when I checked RA members, all three nominees had been active within the past 30 days, and all three had an active TNP nation.
