Good Evening Everyone,
Recently around The North Pacific, I've noticed that some disagreements have been getting a little bit tense. These disagreements cover a wide range of issues, from from Election Law to Complaints against the Speaker of the Regional Assembly. I only mention this because some of this issues just keep popping up; in particular, there are those who seem to bring them up whenever they get the chance.
I admit that I have not been immune to this, as I have vehemently opposed the Security Council and have introduced legislation that I know would complicate its implementation. However, I've recognized that these differences among us have the possibility to become serious open sores, and I likely will change said legislation to attempt to accommodate everyone, including the Security Council.
Now, I'm not saying that I set a stellar example for everyone- far from it. I am just saying that as North Pacificans, we need to be able to better accommodate each other and build our region back up to be a major player in NS politics. Luckily with elections coming up, even with the slight controversy involving the scheduling and the lack of choices, I think we have a great Government coming in and while I refuse to to endorse a particular candidate for delegate, I think both have and will continue to serve the region admirably in whatever respect they can, and I look forward to the future.
I apologize if I don't really have much of a thesis or topic, or if I ramble a bit, but I suppose what I'm saying is that we as TNPers need to figure out how to better work together while these arguments are still rather small ones. Its unaddressed differences such as these that eventually led to some people supporting the Crimson Coup of approximately a year ago, and I don't want to see that happen again. In short, I'd like to challenge everyone in The North to help the next administration, whoever it may be, in building a more civil, united, and strong TNP.
Thank you.
