Announcement

Following the tradition of not allowing new Assembly-members to vote during a vote started after the applicant has been admitted, I'm leaning towards again (as I did in the last election) suspending applications during voting for the next election. This has acted as a security measure to avoid attempts to unexpectedly "throw" the results in the past. So if I proceed, any and all applications submitted before election voting begins will be filed as planned and those applications submitted during election voting will have to wait to be admitted until after voting ends.

I will take utter silence as wholesale support to arbitrarily deliver this region to the Masters of Evi-- I mean continue with the policy stated.

Note: in order to ensure service, by law the Speaker must admit applicants waiting over two weeks, however because the voting period for elections has never taken longer than 10 days this should not be a concern.
