Email notification update

We have done everything we can do internally to check on solutions to the problems many of you are having with not receiving e-mail notifications of personal messages or new posts in subscribed threads.

We have reported the issue to Invisionfree Support. Their initial response is as follows:

There is currently an issue with emails coming from boards hosted on the S13 server. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimate on how long it will take to resolve the problem. We'll try to keep you informed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It appears IF support may have made progress in resolving the problem with email notification.

Please port iin the oderation discussion area if you are now receiving email notificastion or not.

The most recent update from Invisionfree Support on the e-mail notification problem:

The issue is currently preventing users with hotmail based emails receiving email from your board. All other email addresses should work fine.

We do hope to finally have this issue fixed sometime within the next couple of weeks - we'll be posting an announcement about some exciting news. Keep an eye out for it.

If you aren't receiving e-mail notifications but should be, and you aren't using MSN's hotmail service, please post something in the Suggestion Box subforum.
Alternatively, try switching your email to a non-Hotmail service.
