So, I have appointed Heft as Interim Senator for the North Pacific, but as we are TNP I believe we like Elections.
Pending the writing of a law on the subject, I'd like to orchestrate an Election for the position, the winner of which election I will appoint to replace Heft.
How will this interim election work?
1. This week, ending on Sunday, September 7, shall be the Declaration period. Any member of the Assembly may during this week post in this thread to indicate their interest in being the Senator.
2. Next week, ending on Sunday, September 14, shall be the Voting period. The Assembly members who indicated their interest will be voted on using Instant Runoff Voting. (You rank your choices.) This is an interim thing for speed efficiency and simplicity, I do not know what any formalized system would look like.
