The North Pacific
After months of infighting and arguments, Lewis & Clark, AKA Westwind has stepped down as delegate of The North Pacific. L&C had originally become delegate back in early February, after a period of planning and preparation, and with the intention of ridding TNP of what was perceived by L&C and his supporters to be a stagnant government that was not geared towards newer players. With the support of Gatesville, L&C held onto the delegacy for several months, but inactivity plagued both the delegate and the new forum that had been set up. However, on the 25th of April, Gatesville reached an accord with the 'rebels' and withdrew from The North Pacific, as L&C decided to retire as delegate.
This message was posted by him on TNP's regional message board before he passed the delegacy to Great Bight's Mum:
This came as a relief to some, but brought to dismay to others, particularly those who supported L&C's regime change and had hoped for a new, dynamic government that would replace what they believed to be a stagnant and bureaucratic one. Another worry was that they would be persecuted for their roles in L&C's government. However, shortly after ascending to the delegacy, GBM issued a statement, the whole version of which can be seen here.
The 'new' TNP government meet to discuss the changes required to the region.
It should be noted that TNP was not exactly 'liberated' by force, as it has been in the past, but more by discussion and agreement. Those players who supported Great Bight's Mum should think twice before declaring that they have 'won', because a lot more work, cooperation and acknowledgement must be put it before 'victory' can be achieved. Not over those with differing opinions, but by reaching agreements with those of differing opinions.

It should also be noted that L&C booted a genuine threat to the delegacy, in the form of Chlorine chloride, shortly before the delegacy changed hands.Thank you Maha and GBM. I will, at best, be on 'Leave of Absence' let us say, until RL circumstances warrant otherwise.
I have had the need to depart NS for some time now, as my regretful lack of full activity has shown. Perhaps someday, the story can be told. It's not a good one.
TNP in any case needs active leadership. That was the entire point many months ago, as we sat upon an inactive z13 forum with an inactive government.
Yes, Wandering Messengers, I am leaving. In 24 hours, TNP will have a new delegate.
Be good to each other, and always remember that this is a game. And behind each nation is a human being, a player engaged in a role they choose to play. Each player may change roles at times, and steer their own course independent of what you may or may not think they should do.
Peace be with you.

It is time to bring together all nations of the North Pacific, and welcome back into our midst those who left to form the Crimson Order and those who were sent to the Rejected Realms. We all want what's best for the region, and it is only by engaging in open dialogue that we will be able to move forward.
No Crimson Order member shall be prosecuted for his actions. They were seeking to build a better TNP. It is, after all, what we all want.
We cannot be afraid to test new ideas. Nor should we be stuck with old ideas that no longer work.
