So it seems I've missed a few things while I was gone. Rogue delegates, forum schisms, an NS upgrade that broke my scanner to bits, and now an ultimatum from a foreign power!

But now I'm back and ready to rumble! I'll do whatever I can to help this proud region defend its own. :yes:
 
Welcome back, E! The NS upgrade came out of nowhere this week; caught all of us by surprise. (But i bet you'll figure out a way to use the new RSS feeds to automate the endo tracking process.)

The RSS feeds are indeed a very intriguing addition. However, I'm still stumped about how to use them for the scanner - there's one per nation, so I'm gaining absolutely nothing by querying them all instead of querying the nation page and getting the endorsements directly.

Aurora (Endospider 4.0, in Drupal) will have archived endorsements, other information (gameplay stuff, influence, etc.), tracking of regional movements, automated updates... but it won't be done for a long time yet. To get this done fast, I can't even finish Endospider 3.0 (a "lite" version that will be far slimmer than Aurora), but will have to throw a dirty fix on the current mess and make Endospider 2.6.
