Thel D'Ran, the regions official cartographer, and a member of the General Assembly returned today by posting a message in the "Map of The North Pacific" forum, consisting of a tattered map, featuring only a ship at sail, and a compass rose.

Thel D'Ran joined the TNP forums on November 28, 2005, and began creating maps for the region soon afterwards.

Map sign-ups will not be accepted at this time, until D'Ran "figures out some of the math".

Thel has been around longer than the forum, so his signup date might not be the best indication. Maybe some way to word it that Thel is a veteran member, and former Delegate of TNP.

Yes... this forum is relatively new within TNP history, created when Twoslit went nuts. Thel was delegate in August/September of 2004 IIRC, but you'd have to double check that. He was instrumental in the opposition to Great Bight in the summer of 2004, and ended up with the delegacy after the ADN/ALL backed Free4all handed it over to him.

It is also important to note his influence and guidance in the creation and organization of The Order of the Gryphons.

I am not sure on this, but in addition to being the official cartographer, he was instrumental in the creation and design of many of the member icons, medals and other icons of merit.
