Actually, December is the time for the board to elect a chancellor for the next six month term. My election as chancellor was to complete Ator People's term, which I have done.
My primary goal as chancellor was to protect the University's existence during the recent uphevals within the government of TNP. By having the governing law of the University updated, and reinforcing the autonomy and independence of the University, that goal has been met.
The one matter that should be done is electing the seventh seat on the board, since there is no longer a Minister of Culture and Education, and since the recent amendment allows the board to elect its own chair.
