John Safran (the guy from the clip) is a comedian. A funny one, whose radio show i listen to every week, but not exactly the ultimate source of religious knowledge.
heres the thing with Australian comedians, especially ones that poke fun of ignorant americans (and ignorant australians), they pick and choose their interviews and material to make out that all the people they interviewed are retards. So i wouldnt exactly be taking this as pure truth.
As for the 'Christian minister' that John interviewed at the beginning, later in the same series he tries to exercise John and uses God as an excuse to beat the crap out of him. he's about as poor an excuse for a religious person as you could get. Im pretty sure he lives off donations from his ministry as well, so the more he disses Mormons and the more Mormons he converts to his way, the richer he gets. He is far more of a jerk than any Mormon i have ever met.
