Anyone have a Total War game?

Seeing as the Games & Arts forum is as dead as a Dodo's doorknob I thought I'd attempt to bring some life into it by asking the potentially 0 reply question which is mentioned in the title.

Anyone got Rome: Total War, Barbarian Invasion, Rome: Total Realism or Medieval II: Total War and fancy a co-operative campaign? Via emailing save games as attachments, in case you're wondering. We can keep a campaign thread open with screenshots and tales of epic battles and cutthroat diplomacy of our glorious empire. T'wil be the most exiting thing to hit Games & Arts since that 'The Last Knights' thing a few years back.

If it turns out by some miracle peoples have one of the aforementioned (Medieval II is my preference, but beggars can't be choosers) we'll sort out what we're actually doing (i.e. Faction, difficulty level, what version you have) later. This is just to test the waters.

(We could technically do the same with a Civ IV game too, but I'm complete pants at Civ IV compared to TW)

I would completely jump on board for a Civ IV game. Like a kangaroo.

Especially once "Beyond the Sword" is released. Mmmm.

If no-one's interesting in a TW game we might; but I am quite crap. My generalship on TW rivals that of Hannibal, though.

I'm up for a TW game (Rome or Barbarian Invasion), although its a while since I've played, and I was never very good to begin with...

Great!

@ Byard: We can start a Civ IV game as soon as you like. I'm not too fussed about the map or civ, but my preferences are usually Terra and the England of Elizabeth I. I'm complete pants at it though, so I usually play on an embarrassingly easy level. I'll leave it to your discretion. 10 turns each sound fair enough? If you wanna start you can email the save game as an attachment to sydia_@hotmail.com.

@ Nam: Excelllent! Since you're a bit modest about your generalship (;) ) we can have it on M/M difficulty? Which game and which faction would you like to play as? Also; I notice Rome Total Realism is out for BI. Might be interesting to play a game with that. I haven't installed in yet, but RTR Gold kicked ass (got rid of stupid situations like the 4 Roman factions in RTW). Fancy it?]
Apparently it renders BI unusable without multiple installs, so sod that, I already have multiple installs for RTR: Gold! Eh, forget that then (unless you wanna install RTR Gold and we can play that).

My favourite faction has always been the Greeks, a Greek M/M game for RTW sound OK? Oh, and unit scale; huge. Unless your compy is an old chugger.

We could do a ten-turns a pop system, or if you'd like we could go by faction leader. What I mean is, one of us plays until the current faction leader snuffs it, then emails the save file to the other, et cetera. Re setting faction heirs, we could let it do it automatically (downside is; we might get a 60 year old waste of space leading our empire), select it based on ability (i.e., whoever is the most suited/has the most command stars - my prefered method) or whoever is youngest.
