Let us pretend nothing ever happened. That always fixes everything. I feel strongly that Mesian should not be banned from governmental activities. Hersfold would be welcomed back to governmental activites and he ordered Mesian to do what he did. Lack of logic, anyone?
Why not put a hban of so many days or months on Mesians ability to take part in governmental affairs? Realistically he probably won't be returning to any significant activity after the BS that has transpired. But, let us be fair and even in how justice is doled out.
