Vote on apology/statement/whatever the hell it is

We, The Cabinet of The North Pacific, officially apologizes to the government and people of the New Pacific Order for the disturbance and trouble that a member of the NPIA has caused in your forums and territory. We assure you that this operation was conducted outside of normal procedures by a member acting outside of the TNP government's authorization and oversight and in no way represents hostile intent by, or any policy of, the North Pacific. We here in TNP pledge ourselves to maintaining good and peaceful relations with our fellow feeder brothers and sisters and hope that this unfortunate occurrence will not irreparably damage relations between our two regions.

In light of this incident, we intend to investigate and implement any changes necessary to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

Thank you for your patience.

Please don't discuss it here. Just say aye or nay. Nothing binding unless we want it to be later. We need this. Soon. And this will hopefully speed it up.

Aye, although I do have an issue with . . . .

the subject-verb agreement in the first sentence. Plural or singular, pick one.

There, I'm hoping all the grammar is correct, and yes, only Cabinet Ministers (not myself, the V-Del, Speaker or D-Mins) are allowed to vote.

Edit: Capitalized the T in The North Pacific in the section "...intent by, or any policy of, The North Pacific."

Aye....

But "the North Pacific" should be changed to "The North Pacific" here: "authorization and oversight and in no way represents hostile intent by, or any policy of, the North Pacific."

I see this, and recognize the voting outcome. Putting it on the back burner for a quick moment however; edge of seat waiting on how spurred messaging with the king goes.

Oh good, put it on the back burner even longer. Make us look even more incompetent by delaying this even more.

Sorry, but I see no reason to delay this. Get it over with.

Why should I care what you think, again?
Never said you should, but I fail to see how alienating and embarrassing your region, your advisors, and yourself, is productive.

But that's just me. You go on insulting people and making enemies, while failing to accomplish anything thus far in your term. Best of luck with that. I'll be over here, continuing to do my job as MoIIA.

If the Minister who initiated this vote doesn't mind, I'm wrapping it up. With a result of 5 in favour, 1 against and 1 abstain, the vote passes. I would like to call on all parties engaging in this "spurred messaging" business to please kindly and diplomatically wrap it up and have this statement properly delivered. Prime Minister, should you feel that you are otherwise unable to properly present this statement, I suggest that the Minister of External Affairs present it. Should he be unavailable, I suppose I can do it.

I also strongly suggest that certain Ministers respect their offices and should heated words be necessary, take it to private messages. Comments such as the above few in these halls are intolerable, and frankly I won't allow this Cabinet to become a battleground. Remember who you are, and remember who elected you.

Without going into the personal attacks being thrown about, with all due respect, UK, this issue really cannot be put on the backburner, regardless of your tiffs with Moo.

Oh, and I gave my consent to Dali to do this.

MO, you know I love you truly, but that is not what I said. I said I had looked over the vote and the paragraph and recognized the outcome of the vote, but I was courteous to explain why I was not copy/pasting right this moment, because I have been messaging Moo. It does not mean I have put the entire issue on the backburner, I am ignoring the issue, I am ignoring the vote, or any other misunderstood or contrived interpretations given. In the future maybe I ought be more aloof, then.

Apologies. Misread your sentence up above.

However, I think we're all rather interested in hearing what the results were of your messaging with Moo. Please?

He doesn't like me and can be rude and dismissive. That's about it.

I'm afraid very few people have been professional in the matter, Prime Minister.

It's my understanding that you haven't actually exchanged any PMs with him except for the one that was posted publically. Is this true, or no?

In England, it is also appropriate to treat those around you with a modicum of respect, even if you disagree with their views.
