This is advance notice that the election cycle for the May 2007 General and Delegate Elections are to begin in a couple of days. The positions available are:
In addition, Delegate and Vice Delegate Candidates are expected to have had a UN nation in The North Pacific for the previous three months (ie. since the last elections) in order to be eligible to stand.

7 April, 0000 GMT to 17 April, 2359 GMTNPA 2-week endorsement period should start at some point during this period
21 April, 0000 GMT - 27 April, 2359 GMT Declaration/Nomination period
1 May, 0000 GMT - 7 May, 2359 GMT Voting Period
10 May, 0000 GMT - 16 May, 2359 GMTRunoff Election Voting Period (if needed)
- Prime Minister
- Minister of Immigration and Internal Affairs
- Minister of External Affairs
- Minister of Defence
- Minister of Justice/Attorney General
- Minister of Arts and Entertainment
- Minister of Culture and Education
- Minister of Communication
- Speaker of The Regional Assembly
- UN Delegate
- UN Vice Delegate
- Security Council Positions (8 seats, based on current RA membership of 80)
In addition, Delegate and Vice Delegate Candidates are expected to have had a UN nation in The North Pacific for the previous three months (ie. since the last elections) in order to be eligible to stand.
Please note that several clarifications of the election law have been adopted, and apply to this election cycle. These include:
- Candidates for Vice Delegate must meet the same qualifications as for Delegate, including erm limitations.
- Candidates may not be nominated for or declare themselves as candidates for more than one office (other than the Securoty Council.
- A candidate for Delegate or Speaker may run for the Security Council, however, votes for someone who is elected as Delegate or Speaker will be disregarded in determining who is elected for the Security Council.
- In elections for Delegate and Vice Delegate, only Regional Assembly members, who have a UN nation in TNP or that is in active service with the NA or NPIA may vote.
