CommRanger Alpha is the nation I use in TNP to coordinate CR spam-busting. There are a few natives who assist in the work (Haor Chall is a great help). I do not have a current list. I usually lurk the forum PMing RA members ask ing for antispam assistance and a (very) few respond with positive activity.
CommRangers seldom recruit; we PLAY. Our diligent activity on the RMB attracts TG comments from natives and from spammers alike. Natives want to know "why" and "what are CRs?". Spammers usually use only four-letter words in their whining.
Being a CommRanger has always been an individual choice for individual action. We are not organized like the Gryphons were. We are not any kind of formal organization. Instead, we are a group of players in several feeders united in our hatred of spam and in our desire to see activity and improvement in the feeders. The CommRanger opinion is that an ACTIVE RMB demonstrates a HEALTHY and ACTIVE region. If a feeder surrenders its RMB to the userite spammers, the feeder might as well give the region over to the living because the uncaring feeder government is DEAD. It is the ACTIVE RMB that attracts newbies.
In TWP, there are teams based on time zones that have naturally formed because these players frequent the RMB at the same times. TP has a similar group. Lazarus is still in the developing stage as it attracts more players who are active. TNP has BURSTS of anti-spam energy but no real appetite for spam control. You guys have one of the largest assemblies in the game (your RA) but most of your members sit on their a$$es doing nothing on the RMB. You hide here in the forum like peacocks waiting for "photo op moments" where you can post and look "cool" to the rest of the peacocks.
If TAO sounds harsh, accept the truth and prove me wrong by making a POSITIVE CHANGE in the region beginning with the RMB.
Confession time:
The CommRangers were created by TAO in TWP almost three years ago but the whole concept of an active RMB force was inspired by TNP's nightly RMB battles against Great Bight. Control of the RMB was a way to claim nightly victories in the day to day battles of that war. You TNP oldies were AWESOME!!! And when Pixiedance 1,2, and 3 broke out, you TNP masters were again on the scene demonstrating to the whole f###ing NS world that TNP was alive and well despite IP, Cathyy, and Ivan.
What has happened to you? What will it take to revive your sorry behinds and get you out of the forum and back on the RMB?
Ways to spot illegal spammers: KEEP A SPAMMER LOG. Have several members report to one member throughout the day with a brief TG or forum entry entry saying which recruiters advertised in that time period. Try to collect the whole 24 hour list each day. Illegals are so easy to spot.
Drop by TWP and sees Kingsteck's nightly listing of who has recruited. Spammers see it and cringe because they know if they break the 24-hour rule they will be TG-warned by a CommRanger (one time) AND REPORTED to the Mods (for repeat offenders). And the Mods have been quick to respond to the CommRangers' reports because we are open, honest and fair. It is currently about time for Kingsteck to post his daily report and I will post a copy here.

I realize the job Kingsteck does is nothing short of SUPERHUMAN. But he doesn't always work alone. Maybe you can create a forum thread for logging adspam recruiters. But anything you do in TNP will have to be something your native members buy into.
TAO is always willing and able to help any feeder with creating a CommRanger contingent within the region. REalizing that SOMETHING can be and needs to be done with the RMB is a grand way to get things going.
