Interview with Southwest Asia

We Have an Interview with Southwest Asia our newly elected Minister of Justice. Thank you for joining us and congratulations to being elected a first term.

Dont Pick It Up- To get things rolling, why did you run for Minister of Justice?

Southwest Asia - Frankly, I felt that I needed to become more acquainted with the practice of TNP law. Plus, I felt that the one area in which to truly make a difference was the legal system.

DPIU- What Past positions have you held in the past in this region? Any of them in specific do you feel make you qualified for MoJ?

SWA- I never held a past elected position, although I am a diplomant, TNP army member, and regional assembly member. I think the biggest one that qualifies me for MoJ service is my role as the RA member.

DPIU- Is there anything you would like to accomplish in your ministry?

SWA- It will depend on what legal issues will come up.

DPIU- Your ran for an uncontested position, do you feel this is a problem in our region? If so do you have any ideas on how to fix it?

SWA- I don't feel that it's necessarily a problem, considering our rules on term limits and who can run for what. I think it's a great chance to give untested members a chance to show that they can work in the government.

DPIU- Is there anything you would like to say to wrap up this interview?

SWA- Pie is delicious.
